These latter offenses are part and parcel of U.S. policy misadventures in the Muslim world whose people we invaded and occupied (as well as Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia) are living with daily.
So provocations such as this anti Muslim video, just becomes the latest catalyst provoking Muslims with strong sectarian beliefs as well as radical jihadists to riot against U.S. flagged embassies and consulates in their countries.
At bottom, it is U.S. policy of aggression, hegemony and occupations in the Muslim world that are the primary reasons for the anti Americanism. Remove these factors and a provocative video by some anti Muslim American would still be an insult to Muslims but he would be seen as a lone crackpot and a nut not worthy of attention or response.
