As you are probably painfully aware, we've had a lot of problems with our web hosting company that led to the site being down, the database being down and glitches in the article submission system.
We've finally moved the site from the old hosting company to a new one. We officially re-pointed the domain name to the new servers last night. The process of "propagating" the transfer can take minutes to 48 hours, depending on your internet access provider, primarily.
This may cause some temporary glitches which may manifest as your inability to log in to the site, articles not showing up, and even different urls for articles. We expect 99% of these problems to be resolved within the next 24 hours.
So, if you encounter problems with the site, please wait a while, then try again. If, after Friday morning, 9:00 EST, you still have problems, please drop me an email. If you see something strange happening, feel free to drop me an email so we can check it out as we fine tune the transfer.
We have a lot of big plans for the site once we're re-stabilized, plans that will bring in a lot more readers and make it even more fun, interesting and useful for existing writers and users. So hang in there with us as we hit these bumps in the road. When you're exploring new territory, the road often does get bumpy, especially when you are cutting new paths, where no-one has gone before.
I can't repeat often enough how much I appreciate you being a part of this adventure in the building of a unique community.
Thanks,
Rob Kall
