What I really want is the impeachment and arrest of George W. for war crimes. He should be held responsible for murdering my nephew, Marine Lance Cpl. Chase Comley, the almost 2,300 other troops who have died in this unconstitutional Iraq war, and the more than 100,000 Iraqis who have been killed.
If this doesn't happen, I'll be pushing for the flying of time""fast forward, please, to January 20, 2009 when Bush's second term will end. Unfortunately, the result of his arrogance will be with us forever, and I don't just mean the unending grief of those who have lost a loved one because of the Bush Doctrine.
Today, Iraq is in civil war. This was predicted. I said it before the invasion. My mother said it. When Rumsfeld spoke of a "cakewalk," I wondered if he'd forgotten to take his dementia medication that day.
Secretary of State Condolethal Rice and George Butcher are begging for the violence to stop, blaming al-Qaeda's al-Zarqawi. Meanwhile, Iran is pointing the finger at the United States and Israel.
I can't imagine that Bush and Rice would have any authority with the sects who are fighting. After all, George W. struck the match that ignited the entire conflagration when he invaded Iraq in March of 2003 with Rice as one of his biggest pompom shakers. These two shouldn't have a whit of credibility with Americans right now, so imagine the reception their advice is receiving in a country they have destroyed. Also, think about Bush's answer when questioned if the war diverted attention from capturing Osama bin Laden: "Ya know, I just don't spend that much time on him." And, then, picture Bush in costume, landing on the USS Abraham Lincoln when he told us that "major combat operations in Iraq have ended." Would anyone say that all the operations since that day have been minor?
So, here's the deal. We can expect many more deaths in Iraq. Bush is a mass murderer. Four US soldiers were killed today by a roadside bomb which means four families will soon hear the ringing of the doorbell with words that will have them falling on the floor in agony. And George in his typical brat-like posturing is telling us we don't need to worry about port security. Does this mean he has everything under control? Wait! The VP is still sobering up from his hunting accident. Are you feeling safe yet?
Face it. Our world with Bush at the wheel is much more dangerous than it was before he took the oath on January 20, 2000. Keep repeating the "I" word, louder and louder and, then, let's all start marching in the streets until our voices are heard. "Impeach."
This president has received sooooo many "get outta jail free cards." If Bill Clinton didn't get a pass for lying about a blowjob and stains on a Gap dress, why is George Bush getting away with murder?
