Quick Ohio update here. Marc Dann resigned Wednesday, 5-14-08 as the Ohio Attorney General. There is a sizable scandal issue at the AG office. It is still quite small in comparison to the as yet unreported by the major media issues around the last office holders in state government and what happened on their watch... the theft of the Ohio U.S. Presidential election, and the Ohio Supreme Court was tinkered with too.

Tom Winters is replacing Marc Dann temporarily as Attorney General. Winters was the number 2 guy under Marc Dann. Tom Winters was once a lobbyist for Tom Noe, who invested Ohio's Bureau of Workers Compensation money on rare coins, beanie babies, and wine. Tom Noe is now in federal prison. That money was collected to be used by injured workers, their widows, and their children. That scandal was called coingate, and the Tom Winters connection is reported on in the below link:
Another article on Tom Noe, Marc Dann, and Tom Winters writes:
Come to think of it, Tom Noe was a rookie when he got his no holds barred investment fund from BWC. Noe's contract was so loose audits couldn't even verify the existence of many coins and showed some investment grade coins valued at under five cents. How did that happen? Why were BWC internal auditors who warned that theft could be easily concealed under the terms of Noe's contract, years before his $13 million dollar heist was discovered, ignored and scolded? Former State Senator Marc Dann rode to the Attorney General's job asking questions like that, railing against a "pay to steal" culture in Columbus. Dann has since joined the BWC Coingate investigative task force and he's hired as his First Assistant Attorney General, Tom Winters, Tom Noe's former lobbyist. Winters helped Noe get coins exempted from Ohio sales tax laws in the 1980's.
An investigation began Wednesday morning, 5-14-08 by Ohio Inspector General Thomas P. Charles into the Attorney General's office. It was reported in the Dispatch that a cart of computers and electronic devices had been removed from the AG office, along with the Suburban vehicle that Dann drove. This apparently prompted Dann to resign sooner than he might have.
I have public record requests in, FOIA's, at the AG office regarding information I provided to them about election fraud in 2004 and 2006. I wrote to them about my concern for those records becoming unavailable because of the removal of computers and records at the AG office. I wonder what part of the records I requested were carted out of the office of the Ohio Attorney General. I have learned today that part of the records I requested from emails of Marc Dann are being prepared.
It looks like the position of Ohio Attorney General will be on the ballot this fall. The candidates are lining up. Who do we know that would be a good candidate, and would investigate the election theft? This issue needs pushed, for any and all good candidates.
The GOP already has suggested 3 County Prosecutors; Rachel Hutzel, David Yost, and Ron O'Brien for candidates. We know of election issues on all three. Hutzel is from Fake Homeland Security Alert Warren County, Yost from block the 2004 recount and don't allow access to records Delaware County, and O'Brien is from don't hand out the paper ballots which the federal judge ordered the BOE to do so, but instead the Prosecutor went to federal court to fight it during the long lines and rain of 2004... Franklin County. Heck Ohio has millions of people, there have so be some better choices than this.
Ohio needs lots of help. Do all you can.
