"I'm often asked why we're in Iraq when Saddam Hussein was not responsible for the 9-11 attacks. The answer is that the regime of Saddam Hussein was a clear threat. My administration, the Congress and the United Nations saw the threat. And after 9-11, Saddam's regime posed a risk that the World could not afford to take. The World is safer because Saddam Hussein is no longer in power."
(George Orwell's "newspeak" is alive and well.)
Gary: I'm breaking this down:
This is President George W. Bush's confession that Saddam Hussein was not responsible for the 9-11 attacks.
BUSH: The answer is that the regime of Saddam Hussein was a clear threat.
What? The Bush administration has admitted that there was no weapons of mass destruction.
The Bush administration has admitted the Saddam Hussein did nothing to threaten or to kill Americans leading up to the US invasion.
The Bush administration has admitted Saddam Hussein was not behind 9-11.
With no terrorist deeds or connections documented, what threat was Saddam Hussein to the World?
(Evidence suggests that the George W. Bush administration either knew about or was behind the 9-11 attack so it could wager war on the middle-east for the reasons of power and resources. Money and World power are the motives. His father President George Herbert Walker Bush spoke of the New World Order. Our King George II is trying to please his daddy.)
BUSH: My administration, the Congress and the United Nations saw the threat.
The United Nations said no to you. Other powerful countries said no to you. You waged war before Congress could act and after you committed our troops, they mistakenly acted under pressure. You are now trying to share your guilt with the UN and Congress. At least you didn't include the US Senate.
BUSH: And after 9-11, Saddam's regime posed a risk that the World could not afford to take.
How? What risks? Make a list of what Saddam was doing to hurt the World that will hold up in court. You have signed off over 800 times that International and Constitutional laws don't apply to you. You have broken the law and you and your staff deserve to be tried in both an International Court of Law and in American courts.
