I was listening to this last night shortly after Paul Beckwith posted it. I woke up about three hours later with my body paralyzed with fear, as the reality of what we are doing to life on earth sunk in yet deeper. In one of my interviews with Guy McPherson, I raised the topic of insect Armageddon and his take on it. He claimed not to be sure, though he had recently come across a paper indicating that UVC (there are three kinds of ultra violet rays, A, B, and C), might actually be reaching the surface of the earth. He tried to get more from the scientists who wrote the paper, but surprisingly couldn't. So here we have analyzed and explained by Paul how N2O is being released and transformed into NO2, which rises to the stratosphere and takes out the thin ozone layer that has made life on earth possible. Old information, finally analyzed and, as always, "far worse than we thought."
