I have just heard your answers to the confirmation Committee where you used your Jewishness as an explanation of your deep feelings towards Israel and also your dining in Chinese restaurant during Christmas. You referred to that as something obvious for a Jewish person. I would like to state that:
1. Not all Jews by origin have great feelings towards Israel. Some of us don't care. Some of us really do not like it. Some like it but surely they have much deeper feelings towards USA. In fact, if you want to be a judge in the US you better have proper feelings towards the US first.
2. Not all Jews spend Christmas in Chinese restaurant. Many of us are atheists and just... have a Christmas tree. Many of us are Christians. Jewishness is just an origin, you know. Many of us are Moslems too as a matter of fact.
Take it from the Jew.
