CBO Report :: Iraq contractors cost to taxpayers may top $100 billion

A government report indicates that from the invasion of Iraq until the end of 2008 the United States will have spent some $100 billion on private contractors.

The Congressional Budget Office's report, scheduled for release Tuesday, indicates one of every five dollars spent on the war in Iraq went to contractors for the U.S. military and other government agencies...
