Greenspan's legacy vs Volcker's demarche

Former US Federal Reserve chairman Alan Greenspan's reputation is increasingly shredded amid the continuing global financial crisis, while that of predecessor Paul Volcker has seldom looked better earned. The sooner the Fed returns to Volcker's approach, the sooner financial confidence will be restored.
