In this brilliant Harpers mag piece, Sam Sussman, a NY writer, considers the implications of his possibility that his father is Bob Dylan, a secret his mother kept well-hidden, and never outright admitted, a tantalization that reframed his thinking and had him listening to "Tangled Up In Blue" differently ever after. It's personal glimpse of the enigmatic Dylan (aka, Mr. Anything-You-Please) that is often missing from biographies and autos of the legend.
Also references another great song -- Series of Dreams -- that works like dysfunctional nostalgia, dreams replacing memories. Good stuff.
