Iran says Security Council rulings illegitimate

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Friday any decisions by the U.N. Security Council, which is considering imposing sanctions on Iran over its nuclear program, were illegitimate.

Iran's file has been sent back to the council and it now faces possible sanctions after failing to meet a demand to halt uranium enrichment.
