Senate GOP Strikes Deal for Gulf Coast Oil Drilling

Senate leaders and Gulf Coast lawmakers announced a major offshore oil and gas leasing deal yesterday designed to boost domestic energy production, distribute federal revenue to states along the Gulf of Mexico and provide a 125-mile buffer for Florida's coast.
