On June 5, Congress will vote on the Federal Marriage Amendment,
which would enshrine discrimination against gay people in the
Constitution. Not only would such an amendment prevent further
movement toward full equality, it could be used to roll back all
the gains we've made over the past 30 years, including domestic
partner insurance benefits, minimal legal protections, and
adoption rights. |
