| A jury in Christiansberg, Virginia has ruled that officials at Virginia Tech were negligent on April 16, 2007, the day of the infamous shooting rampage that left 32 people dead and 25 injured, according to a report from ABC affiliate station WJLA. The jury of seven was given the case earlier today and asked to determine whether school officials had acted improperly by delaying a campus-wide warning about the gunman's rampage. Some victims' families say the time delay allowed shooter Seung-Hui Cho to slaughter dozens more students and faculty than he would have if a warning had gone out in a timely manner. |
