Parody mocks Virginia trans-vaginal ultrasound bill

A video uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday mocks legislation proposed in the Virginia Senate that would require women seeking an abortion to undergo a medically unnecessary ultrasound and be given an opportunity to view the ultrasound image.

Since most abortions are performed in the first trimester, when the fetus is too small to be viewed by an abdominal ultrasound, the ultrasound image would need to be captured by inserting a probe into the vagina.

The parody video compares the proposed law to other situations when an ultrasound is unnecessary, such as registering a child for school.
