Ross Brummet is a student and writer in Los Angeles. Considering himself a utilitarian with libertarian socialist sympathies, he is fond of the views of Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky, and Peter Singer. However he finds Kurt Vonnegut and Douglas Adams more amusing.

On Argo and Iran
SHARE More Sharing
Last night I watched Argo. While it was well made, and not as terrible, in a political sense, as it could have been. It still, more or less, painted the CIA in a fairly positive light, and Iranians as mostly a bunch of crazy maniacs. It's nice, however, to keep in mind that Iran is a gorgeous country filled with normal decent people.
