I quit my job in the U.K., where I designed global computer networks for a living, in October, 2001. I spent several years in the U.S. studying screenwriting at UCLA and editing an online magazine outside Flagstaff, Arizona. I left the U.S. in March, 2007, and now live in Belize, Central America, sharing my home with an adopted daughter and her husband and mixed-breed puppy (a 'pot-licker' in local parlance) called 'Layla'.
Though writing is pretty much at the top of my list, Belize offers many diversions: visiting Mayan ruins, exploring caves, boat rides along the rivers, or out to the quays in the company of well proportioned young fishermen, and jungle hikes in the hope of seeing wild Jaguar. My other interests are photography, astronomy, the preservation of the natural world, and very tight corsets!
