I held a moveon.org showing of an anti-war movie recently. I write anti-war letters to the Minneapolis Star Tribune and get a couple published every year. I am a progressive, not an establishment Democrat, and proud of it.

The American Institute of Demolition Engineers has announced that future building demolitions will be accomplished by setting kerosene fires in the same way Al Qaeda demolished the 3 WTC buildings on 9/11. The new technology is much cheaper and easier than the traditional method of detonating timed explosives floor-by-floor.

Seven in 10 Americans believe that Iran currently has nuclear weapons, according to a new national poll. More than six in ten think the U.S. should take economic and diplomatic efforts to get Iran to shut down their nuclear program, with only a quarter calling for immediate military action.

Progressives are very active in calling for impeachment of Pres. Bush. However, no progress is being made because the press is silent on impeachment. To get the impeachment process moving, we need to call on polling organizations and the press to conduct impeachment polls. Strong sentiment favoring impeachment will translate into the desired action: an impeachment resolution in the House.
