Perhaps it was hearing one too many times how corrupt all business is and then seeing the death and dying in places like the DR Congo because of the failure of big business and big governments to put people ahead of profits.
I said enough of the "normal" way of business and peace. It is up to each one of us to make peace and business work - not just talk about how bad it all is.
If not me then whom? Is the only important question to ask ourselves in business and in fostering peace.
I am a global businessman who believes peace is the only answer but we all have to eat also. Globalization is bad because we do not offer people in places like the east of the DR Congo a way to eat as we in the US exploit the natural resources and feel good about doing it.
It is up to each one of us to find creative solutions.
