Paul Schroeder is a political science professor at Case Western Reserve University and a former journalist. He is also co-founder of Families of the Fallen for Change, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending the Iraq War as quickly and prudently as possible. He and his wife, Rosemary Palmer, started the organization after the death of their son, LCPL Edward "Augie" Schroeder near Haditha, Iraq in August 2005. Families of the Fallen for Change has more than 1,700 members nationwide.
Dr. Schroeder is a specialist in China and issues of political and economic development in East Asia. Since 2005 he has focused more attention on issues of national security.
