Mark Zuckerberg's Facebook Must Be Broken-Up Facebook/Meta is to large for any one man. The FTC must act.

The Sword of Injustice: A Western Shoshone Tragedy Vs Nevada Millionaire Rancher Cliven Bundy Now that Bundy got his cattle back, will the Koch Brothers quietly come to his aid and pay his fines for him? Or, perhaps some other filthy rich fat cat such as Sheldon Adelson? Will they both gallop in on their white horses with cash registers in their saddlebags? If so, expect a lot of future political posturing to be exploited out of this ordeal.

Why Stopping The Ward Valley Nuclear Waste Dump Is Worth Remembering... Members of the Ft. Mohave Indian Tribe have always known the true value of gratitude, love and respect for our sacred Mother Earth and all life that lives upon it. This is also well known in Shamanic traditions from all cultures on all continents. However, too many of us have not yet learned to live in harmony with nature. It is imperative that we do so if we are to survive in a world worth living.

The Passing of Anthony Guarisco IAAV/AAV was a 501(c)3 non profit organization that worked on behalf of Veterans who participated in the 1940s and '50s in U.S. atmospheric nuclear weapons testing and were injured as a result of their exposure to radiation released from the weapon detonations. Anthony Guarisco, an atomic veteran who honorably served in both WWII and Korea, was the founder and director.

Regardless of Screeching Media Banter, Whistleblowers are our Bravest Heroes Currently, Bradley Manning is being thoroughly ostracized in the mainstream media that is working overtime to demonize him as a confused, abused nut-job with conflicting gender identity issues. Never mind the fact that he's an honorable U.S. soldier (with a conscience) who blew-the-whistle and exposed U.S. hypocrisy.

Edward Snowden Has Awakened the Sleeping Giant Thanks to the sobering revelations of NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, the world has been given a glimpse of the abuse of power (and trust) that our governments have breached. Indeed, the gravity of this "hijacking of humanity" is a crime against "life" itself.

America is Dying (But don't blame me, I'm just the messenger) I thought this was the home of the brave and land of the free! Why do we seem content to roll over for this crap? For some time now, I have seen this fundamental shift quickly escalate. I have watched my fellow citizens eagerly give-up huge swaths of liberty and freedom in exchange for vague promises of increased security. Why? Have we lost all common sense along with our druthers?

Pawns Are Always Expendable When Played If I could ask the Highest Deity for one small favor, one simple concession--it would be that all politicians who support or voted in favor of going to war -- including the Generals who think it's cool to play God with human lives on their chessboard of death via covert action or otherwise--that they attend each soldier's funeral and look into the eyes of each family member and explain to them why their loved ones are dead!

Evaluating The Grim And Finding Viable Solutions Our leaders and news media clowns all try to convince us that "The terrorists hate us for our freedoms." But those of us who did our homework know better. You can't have a foreign policy objective that dictates marching around the globe with jackboots taking (by force) whatever you want to satisfy stockholders, without some blow-back.

No More Mr. Nice Guy: Enough is ENOUGH! Turn off the TV. Grow a garden. Do not let our children enlist in the military. Do not work for the corporations of the military industrial complex. Be wise consumers and do not invest your hard-earned money with them. Get involved and support grassroots organizations that represent peace and goodwill.

Are We Entering A New Era of Human Consciousness -- Or Will We Remain In The Same Negative Paradigm? The Choice is Ours. I guess life really is a vast ocean filled to the brim with challenges, lessons and "opportunity" that each of us -- with our trusty moral and ethical compass in hand -- are forever child navigators trying to find safe passage through the many reefs laid before us.

Get Ready to Shake, Rattle and Glow -- The Worst is Yet to Come at Japan's Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant Here we are, the world is in peril and what is the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) doing about it? Nothing. Even though they could easily do it, they refuse to cut loose with the needed funds to fix this big mess. The IAEA also has a stockpile of money they could easily access to help the situation. Regardless, no one is doing a damn thing. This is unreal!

Realize Your True Potential and Let's Create A Society Worth Living! At this point in time we are almost completely dependent on a corrupt corporate apparatus for our survival, an apparatus that places profits before people. And, It has nothing at all to do with the true nature of man and our relationship to this earth or to each other, yet we depend upon it for our food, for our housing, for our information and even for our entertainment.

Poverty in America -- From Riches to Rags Like a pebble dropped in a pond, everything we do affects the people in our lives, and their reactions in turn affect others. The choices we make will have far-reaching consequences. Each of us carries within us the capacity to change the world in small ways for better or worse.

Occupy With a Vengeance! Change is a Messy Affair, But it Has to be Done Change is a messy affair, but it has be done regardless of the opposition we face. Amen. Take pride in knowing the silver-spoon devils will soon reap the full effect of our public discourse. The great American Occupation has only started and Revolution is now eminent.

The Importance Of The Occupy Movement People of all walks of life are highly motivated -- students, teachers, seniors, workers, the unemployed, the homeless, veterans, civilians, unions and the list is endless. All have joined hands to voice their frustration, their grievances at a corrupt system that begs for change.

Us against Them There are six billion souls on this planet and, if we unite under one banner and join the world revolution that's currently sweeping the globe, we can gain the needed footing to remove these parasites of insanity from our presence.

There and Back Again: Sobering Thoughts about the Nuclear Madness We All Face It makes little or no difference if exposure comes from an "atomic warhead" or from a "nuclear reactor meltdown." The end result is the same -- people suffer horribly and die. And just like the world revolution that's currently being waged around the globe with hardly a whisper in mainstream media, it will not be televised or reported.

The Audacity of Hopelessness and Betrayal After enduring eight years of Bush hypocrisy, Senator Barack Obama easily took the Oval Office in 2008 on a hope and a prayer for "change." Well, here we are in the summer of 2011. Our country thirstier than ever for that change he spoke of.

Solar Storms, CME's, and All Things Considered. Are you Ready? When it comes to being prepared for possible disasters, most people mistakenly take the "wait and see" stance and then wonder why the response is feeble at best and pathetic at the least. Remember Katrina? Can you imagine what would happen if the whole U.S. electrical grid went down for any length of time? Do you think the government is prepared? Think again.
