World's 'Mooslims' need to apologize for Paris Attacks

In the wake of the Charlie Hebdo mass murders by Muslim terrorists, I want to ask the Muslim world: where is your apology? There is no doubt that these terrorists represented each and every one of you, and you are just as much responsible for this calamity as the terrorists. Sure, there may be 1.7 billion of you comprising a diverse one-third of humanity stretching from Sierra Leone to Indonesia. Islam itself may have various religious sects, beliefs and interpretations but none of that really matters. Those terrorists had brown and black skin and so do you. They chanted "Allahu-Akbar" and so do you. They believed in Islam and so do you.

Them Mooslims need to apologize!

Maybe most moderate Muslims have condemned the attacks and shown their disgust in this exhaustive list of 46 examples. These include Islamic societies throughout the world, Muslim heads of state, Muslim intellectuals, and everyday Muslims on Twitter. This is clearly not enough. Moderate Muslims need to come out in the millions like they did in Paris and apologize for the terrorist attacks inspired by Al-Qaeda and ISIS because we all know these violent, barbaric organizations represent true Islam. These terrorists have brown and black skin and so do you. Those terrorists chant "Allahu-Akbar" and so do you. They believe in Islam and so do you.

Them Mooslims need to apologize!

Perhaps the systemic racism against France's large Muslim and Arab/African communities combined with ongoing poverty and marginalization leads many towards crime, drugs, prison and radicalization. The Kouachi brothers were from a poor Paris suburb and were reportedly abandoned by their Algerian parents at a very early age before being placed in foster care. Amedy Coulibaly, the deli supermarket gunman, also grew up in similar conditions in La Grande-Borne, in Grigny, south of Paris. However, this is all beside the point and creating excuses for the terrorists. Societal factors such as poor job prospects, a criminal environment and racism have nothing to do with Islamic radicalization. In the end, these terrorists had brown and black skin and so do you. They chanted "Allahu-Akbar" and so do you. They believed in Islam and so do you.

Them Mooslims need to apologize!

So what if Anders Breivik, who committed the mass murder of 77 people with 69 of them being children, was a Christian? So what if James Egan Holmes, who went on a shooting spree at a Colorado theatre killing 12 and injuring 70, was a white American? So what if there have been major terrorist attacks in the West and the U.S. in the last 30 years committed by non-Muslims? These people were all conveniently medically insane, psychotic and deranged. You could mention the the torture, degradation, and humiliation of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib in 2003 and the gang-rape of 14-year-old Iraqi Abeer Qassim Hamza Al-Janabi in 2006 was carried out by U.S. soldiers, but this was not an act of terrorism. It was part of former U.S. President George W. Bush's "crusade" that continues to manifest itself in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Pakistan and Yemen through Western state-sponsored intervention and drone attacks. Let's also keep in mind that our colonial legacy wasn't about the loot and plunder of resources as much as it was about civilizing savages and modernizing society. We don't need to apologize because we are exceptional and part of the "civilized world." It is you who must apologize, because any retaliatory blowback against Western imperial designs is terrorism. The people who commit terrorism have brown and black skin and so do you. They chant "Allahu-Akbar" and so do you. They believe in Islam and so do you.

You're either with us, or you're with the "terra-rists."
