Voting for Revenge won't work. Republicans to be kicked out of office will just go on to their reward as high paid lobbyists for the very interests on whose behalf they have been screwing us. And Democrats are doing nothing even now to limit the damage because they calculate we will all vote for them because they are the only other game in town. Between the Wedgie-in-Chief, the Vice Evil One and the whole Congress they can't even require a national speed limit like Roosevelt did in 1942 and Nixon in 1974. It might annoy a few western states drivers who just have to go 80 mph. The Wedgie will get a fawning set of memorials by those whom he enriched, just like Ronnie Raygun did.

There is something nonviolent one can do to really show frustration: de-register from the Republican or Democratic parties. Don't give them a nickel of support. Re-register Independent, Libertarian or Green. The speed limit is only a token example. Let the Republican or Democratic parties know that you insist on some real action on issues like forbidding US attack on Iran or warning Israel that we will cut off aid and not support it, if it attacks Iran. Or consider that the oil price stickup is an attempt to break the back of environmental protection of our coasts and ANWAR. Demand that they legally reaffirm protection for coastal selves and ANWAR from oil drilling.

Now is the time, as Nader said in 2000, for all good men and women to crash the parties!
