Scenario Fulfillment? Why Should We Believe US on Location of Drone Shot Down By Iran?

The Iranian military shot down a US spy drone yesterday. The US says the drone, a $22 million RQ-4A Global Hawk was in international airspace.

Iran said the drone was over Iranian airspace. Are we looking into "Scenario Fulfillment?"

But why should one believe the US with its history of lying?

Remember back to 1988 when a U.S. military warship USS Vincennes, a guided missile cruiser shot down Iran Air Flight 655 with all 290 people on board including 66 children. The regularly scheduled passenger flight was over Iran's territorial waters in the Persian Gulf on the routine flight path shortly after taking off from Bandar Abbas heading on the 28-minute flight to Dubai. Its transformer was signaling it was a civilian aircraft.

The USS Vincennes was in Iranian territorial waters after one of its helicopters drew warning shots from Iranian speedboats that were guarding Iranian waterways.

Yet, the U.S. maintained that it was correct in shooting down a civilian aircraft that they said they thought was a military aircraft. It was only much later that President Ronald Reagan made an apology.

When we visited Iran in February 2019, at the Tehran Peace Museum, we saw that the wound of the destruction of Iran Air Flight 655 was still raw.

Knowing this from previous trips to Iran, as a citizen peace delegation, on this trip we presented a book made by a member of our delegation with the names of all of those killed on Flight 655 and with our apologies.

"Scenario Fulfillment"

In a 2000 BBC documentary titled "The Other Lockerbie," and in an M.I.T. study of the Flight 655 shoot-down, U.S. government officials stated in a written answer that they believed the shoot down of Iran Air 655 may have been caused by a simultaneous psychological condition among the 18 bridge crew of Vincennes, called "scenario fulfillment," which is said to occur when persons are under pressure.

US officials said that in such a situation, the men will carry out a training scenario, believing it to be reality while ignoring sensory information that contradicts the scenario. In the case of this incident, the training scenario was an attack by a lone military aircraft when in fact, in reality, the aircraft was a civilian passenger plane on a regularly scheduled flight.

Let's hope Bolton and Pompeo's "scenario fulfillment" does not lead the White House to further military confrontation, much less an attack on Iran.

"Scenario fulfillment"??!

Gimme a f'n break. There's a bizarre, deflective euphemism for everything now. These people should be in a "wellness center", where "healthcare officials" can tend to their "battle fatigue".

There was a lot on this topic yesterday. The drone was shot down, videoed explosion, and soundly condemned by world leaders. I don't have all the links at hand but here's a start click here

I keep looking for any copy of this video. If it's worth anything, it will show a surrounding landscape that can be identified in some way.

Every link I pull out fails to offer this video.

I haven't looked at these but this search pulled up things I'd look for. I did see a lot of this on click here (search for "video of drone being hit by iranian missile" and rt.com/news and related pages such as the news feed there; sorry I'm pressed for time at the moment)

Why did the engine of drone was shut off when entered Iran's airspace?

A similar or the same drone has been flying in the region for some time.

Why Should We Believe US on Location of Drone Shot Down By Iran?

We shouldn't.

BTW, this type of drone is what is suspected of actually hitting the Pentagon on 9/11.

Considering the way it all went down, it would be more logical to hypothesize that if a drone was used against the Pentagon on 9/11, it was to launch a missile at it. The aftermath, and lack of corresponding debris, don't point to a plane of any kind actually hitting the building.

Incorrect. It was a guided missile, nothing similar to these drones.

Considering the fact that dozens and dozens saw an airliner on low approach and/or crash into the Pentagon, and that a set of seats with bodies still strapped into them was found inside the building, and that most all the passengers slated to be on the flight were forensically identified in the aftermath ..... it seems highly improbable that it was a guided missile.

I have done extensive research on the 9/11 false flag event and not only have I never read of having found bodies of passengers (only Pentagon personnel) in the building, but I have never seen pics of passengers in seats either.

Why have I never seen these pics? Because they don't exist.

The account of bodies strapped in seats is from the book "Firefight: Inside the Battle to Save the Pentagon on 9/11." From page 373:

For the first time, Regan's team saw something they had expected to see all along but had been scarce until then: recognizable airplane parts. They all thought they would find big pieces of the airliner laying everywhere, the way car parts end up strewn across a highway after a crash. But the physics of an airplane crash were obviously different: Mostly there was just tons of shredded metal and melted plastic.

Finally, they found several airplane seats, piled among the usual mounds of upturned office furniture and random wreckage. A couple of the seats still had bodies belted into them, which had already been found and marked for the FBI. Most of the workers inside were conscientious about not gawking, yet the seats attracted a lot of attention. They were the first objects the nonaviation experts had seen that unmistakably belonged to an airplane.

Pictures were obviously taken, and also what should be obvious is that such pictures are not the type automatically shared with the public, for obvious reasons. Think of all the gory, horrible pictures daily taken by police and other officials that you don't, and shouldn't, see anywhere, ever.

If you're really interested in the actual truth about the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11, and agree that up-close eye-witness testimony is superior to merely speculating from afar, based seemingly largely on YouTube videos, I'd suggest buying and reading "Firefight".

Thanks Ann for your time and efforts to raise awareness.

Iranians have suffered under illegal Western sanctions for almost 40 years. It should be time that they are lifted before any talk can happen.

NO TALKS when illegal sanctions are in place.

Hang on a sec, let me get this right.

First off we have the U.S. military murdering a plane load of innocent people, (yeah I know, it's not new, they murder innocent people every day) they admit it happened, (how could they not) because they were caught red handed in Iranian territory. No apologies were ever offered, because the U.S. does not apologise for anything. No reparations were ever made, and the officers involved were awarded medals for their bravery.

Then we have MH 17 Malayan airliner shot down over Ukraine, and without any evidence whatever, (though the U.S. could at the drop of a hat, provide evidence of radar tracking which it was monitoring at the time, but refuses to do so) immediately laid the blame at a innocent party, Russia. This week, by some twisted logic, the Dutch have allegedly arrived at a conclusion,(again without any supporting FACTUAL evidence) that four people, (three of them Russian) are responsible for those deaths and demand justice be served.

WHY, the difference between the two events, one gets away scott free, even rewarded for their butchery, and the other, based on the flimsiest evidence demands justice ???????????????

Where is that JUSTICE for the Iranians butchered ??????

Every officer involved in that BUTCHERY needs to be held accountable, NO EXCUSES.
