Abby Martin, former investigative reporter for RT's Breaking The Set, and now with her own sites at: TeleSURTV, and EmpireFiles is strongly supported by the likes of Glen Greenwald, Chris Hedges, Cenk Uygar and others. Listen to Abby Martin describe exactly where all the funding to the Clinton Foundation goes, but even more important, who is donating TO the Clinton Foundation.
After watching this video one must ask themselves two things: (1) can Hillary Clinton keep us safe, and (2) should Bernie Sanders keep silent about the danger that awaits the American people, the ones he represents, in order to maintain his noble meme of not resorting to discussing anything but the "issues?" If Hillary Clinton is allowed to be elected, what will become of those issues that are so important to Sanders' people?
Since Bernie Sanders began his campaign a year ago, it was his mission to run a "clean" campaign, focusing solely on the issues that he believes (we all believe) are destroying democracy for the 99%. We've all heard him recite those issues so there is no need to restate them here.
What does need to be questioned here, however, is whether the Sanders approach to a true pathway of reforming the DNC is by running a clean campaign? For Sanders to keep silent and leave it up to the GOP to slander Clinton, and there's no question that that's exactly what they are waiting for, may end up looking like Sanders was afraid to take on Clinton, even if it meant enlightening not only his supporters, but hers as well.
By NOT focusing on the DNC'S part in causing as much deterioration of the American dream for the 99% as the GOP, but rather by encouraging the people to get involved in their party and nobly, perhaps, reform it from the inside, we are still lambs being led to the slaughter because of a lack of valuable information - information which, if the people had it earlier, may have changed the outcome of this primary season. To be denied valuable information from the corporate media is one thing. We expect that from them. But denying valuable information from our one most trusted candidate is quite another thing. I think if it was up to this wife, this information would be forthcoming.
For the past century, the Democratic Party was the party of the people. In the past 40 years that image has deteriorated greatly, and the big question is why? When did progressives like Al Franken or John Conyers or John Lewis start supporting a hawk like Hillary Clinton and why? How much do we really know about Hillary Clinton? No bad deeds seem to stick to her, yet even though they are known to be many, she manages to glide through with support from people who would never back her candidacy in light of all the dirty laundry she has stacked up over the years.
Spencer Thayer, a Bernie Sanders supporter #feelthebern @spencerthayer spent hours gathering a list of all the information on the names and phone numbers of all the Clinton superdelegates and called it The Superdelegate Hit List. It was later renamed the Superdelegate List for obvious reasons. That list was discussed in great detail at an NPR radio show and has been produced on line. That list resulted in a lot of very unhappy Clinton superdelegates. Listen or read: click here. The full list reads like a who's who in a grab for money and power, yet most if not all these supporters would prefer to call themselves "progressives." See the full list at www.superdelegatelist.com.
