High Noon For Health Care

Dear President Obama

The train is coming, and thank God it isn't a high speed rail. Because it isn't, it can buy you some time - if you hurry.
The train is full of some pretty bad boys, who want to get even with you for regulating them. These boys are the corporations who are in charge of the banks and the health insurance industry. I guess that makes you Gary Cooper.

Last night, at the State of the Union Address, you asked for help. Some of the members of The House and Senate stood up and applauded, and others didn't do anything. The former support your efforts, but the latter are not complacent-they are just afraid of the guys on the train. Somewhere, over time, these guys have made a very lasting impression. They have an unlimited supply of money which they have taken from taxpayers all over the world, from Chile, to South Korea, from Russia, Poland, Argentina, even from Haiti.

During the Cold War, these bandits even had the help of the World Bank, The International Monetary Fund, and Free Market, American born and raised Economists. They were able to convince some other pretty bad guys, who took countries away from democratically elected leaders, that private ownership, by corporations was the way to go. One of the great selling features about living in this quiet little town of America, is that it can't happen here. But we all know that those days are over. It is happening here.

There were even a few judges, in your audience last night, who let them out of jail. We all know that it wasn't early release for good behavior.

You called our elected officials into action, and you invited them to share their ideas on how to solve the problems we all are facing. As a matter of fact, Health Care, as it exists right now in America, is one of the biggest and baddest boys on the train. David Plouffe says you should definitely deal with him first, and I, for one, agree.

So you need an approach to health care, with bi-partisan support. This bill will have to bring needed relief to all the governors, mayors, and municipalities. It needs to be pro-business, but it also needs to be anti-corporate. We've tried the corporate approach to Health Care and it just doesn't work. It needs to be both pro-life and pro-choice. And it needs to happen a hell of a lot sooner, because the train is already here.

Help is just one phone call away. Call Congressman Dennis Kuchinich. Tell him that you find Madame Speaker Pelosi's deadline of 2018, to discuss a green light for individual states to pass their own individual single payer initiatives overruled by executive order. Tell him that the delay just gives the bad guys on the train time to pillage and scare all the senators and congress on the state level. Tell him that America needs help now, and you will support his bill.

No U.S. Congressman or Senator or Supreme Court Justice will stand against this State's Rights Initiative. The Corporations need time-2018 -to get more embedded in the lobbying of individual states. Pennsylvania, California, Michigan, and Vermont are ready, and other states will follow. When health care is removed from federal jurisdiction, and given over to the state's for discussion and implementation, the U.S. Congress and Senate will be able to get the other necessary legislation passed to lift America back up again.

Please understand that the single payer solution on the state level does not need the influence of the insurance industry in any way. On the state level-they do NOT get a seat at the table. Corporate Control of the Health Insurance Industry will be over -once and for all. The $849 billion dollar bailout to the Health Insurance Corporations will not need to happen. Part of this money could be used to retrain the multitude of health insurance, customer service personnel. They too have issues with post traumatic stress syndrome-just from saying NO to claims.

This is the magic bullet America needs right now. You can feel it in your heart. But it is also the shot heard round the world. Other nations are waiting to see if America has any spunk left. The clear path to health reform is neither right nor left. It is dead center, through the states and directly to the American People.

So what about the guys on the train? Washington D.C. is their town right now. You know that you can't meet them alone on Pennsylvania Avenue. My advice to you is to get out of town.

Pack your bags, kiss those beautiful daughters of yours, hug Michelle and get back to what you do best. Raise the consensus of the American people, raise their consciousness from shock and desperation to empowerment and connection.

Start a campaign from state to state, and tell people that the days of corporations running the health care industry are over, that the states can do a better job of handling it, and that the pain and suffering can be alleviated without big government and corporate interference.

Tell the American people that health care will no longer be tied to a job, and that businesses will now be free to compete with the rest of the world, without adding the cost of insurance to the product they create.

Tell them that they will never have to worry about premiums, co-pays, deductibles and denials ever again. Tell them that the bi-partisan support you seek in Washington is impossible due to the strong lobbying effort of the American Association of Independent Health Care Providers, but, that their is strong bi-partisan support on the state levels to pass a single payer bill.

Relieve them of the fear, of not having enough money to retire, by telling them that long term care is included in the state bills and that more money will be available to pay them because their employers will not have to worry anymore about the cost of coverage.

Tell them that passing Single Payer, state to state, is the first step, not only in the Decorporation of America, but in the deregulation of the federal hold on the power of the states.

When you get back to Washington, tell congress that the state run Single Payer Health Bill had such resounding support among the American People that State Banks are next.

Then you can afford to build the high speed rails with the help of the bad guys on the train. Lets have them due some real work for a change instead of making their living by exploitation and intimidation, theft and deception. It is a mind set that they will get used to-they are people now. So tell them, if they are people-it is time to start acting like human beings.
