George Harrison - Taxman
  Details   DMCA

If you drive a car, I'll tax the street,
If you try to sit, I'll tax your seat.
If you get too cold I'll tax the heat,
If you take a walk, I'll tax your feet.

Don't ask me what I want it for
If you don't want to pay some more
'Cause I'm the taxman, yeah, I'm the taxman"
And you're working for no one but me.
George Harrison, "Taxman"

We're not living the American Dream. We're in the grip of a financial nightmare.

"We the people" have become the new, permanent underclass in America.

We get taxed on how much we earn, taxed on what we eat, taxed on what we buy, taxed on where we go, taxed on what we drive, and taxed on how much is left of our assets when we die, and yet we have no real say in how the government runs, or how our taxpayer funds are used.

Case in point: Lawmakers across the country have been acting as fronts for corporations, sponsoring more than 10,000 model laws written by corporations, industry groups and think tanks such as the American Legislative Exchange Council.

Make no mistake: this is fascism disguised as legislative expediency.

As a recent investigative report by USA TODAY, The Arizona Republic and the Center for Public Integrity points out, these copycat bills have been used to "override the will of local voters" and advance the agendas of the corporate state. "Disguised as the work of lawmakers, these so-called 'model' bills get copied in one state Capitol after another, quietly advancing the agenda of the people who write them."

In this way, laws that promise to protect the public "actually bolster the corporate bottom line."

For example, "The Asbestos Transparency Act didn't help people exposed to asbestos. It was written by corporations who wanted to make it harder for victims to recoup money. The 'HOPE Act,' introduced in nine states, was written by a conservative advocacy group to make it more difficult for people to get food stamps."

Talk about Orwellian.

So we have no real say in how the government runs, or how our taxpayer funds are used, but that doesn't prevent the government from fleecing us at every turn.

We're being forced to pay for endless wars that do more to fund the military industrial complex than protect us, for misguided pork barrel projects that do little to enhance our lives, and for the trappings of a police state that serves only to imprison us within its walls.

All the while the government continues to do whatever it likeslevy taxes, rack up debt, spend outrageously and irresponsiblywith little thought for the plight of its citizens.

If Americans managed their personal finances the way the government mismanages the nation's finances, we'd all be in debtors' prison by now.

I have personally been victimized by our government to the point where my wife and I have nearly been killed by actions of government, federal, state, and local, within the last year, nine times! Medicare has placed a lien upon my property of a pre-tax amount of over $150,000 to pay "my share" of medical bills, despite our both paying into Medicare since 1965! The medical megaplex has murdered over a million Americans every year since '65 through medical malpractice and insurance fraud on a massive scale. Medicare is just one cog in the wheel of tyranny. The police state is the very image of fascism. They are a vital part of the scheme to murder our citizens. This article only skims the surface of the attack upon the middle class. The corporations must be removed from government influence. Otherwise, we will all be murdered.

What do the elites think about when they encounter words which to us are the foundation of our civilization. What do they mean when they use them? How do they apply them to themselves, as opposed to the way they apply them to everyone else?

freedom - our supreme right as elites

constitution - our declaration of independence from the masses, and our means of controlling them

rights - what the peasants think are theirs, which actually apply only to us

free trade - we conduct business free of the laws and regulations we impose on the peasants

we the people - we, us, the elites (Haha, the peasants think it's them!)

justice - whatever generates the most revenue per case

law - tools we use to keep the masses under control, not applicable to elites

god - money

wealth - singular eternal purpose

money - the leash around the necks of the peasants

insurance - extra income from keeping the masses fearful - BONUS!

healthcare - maintenance of the heard to keep them just healthy enough to serve us

war - the most lucrative financial exchange

heroes - what we call the fools that fight for us at the expense of their eternal soul to keep them fooled

economy: good v bad - good = sound dow jones industrials, bad = social program expedatures

capitalism - the great lie of money that keeps us in charge

government - the rule of the people (NOT the masses: "people" = us

socialism - the theater where the masses learn to appreciate the crumbs we throw them

immigration - a useful throttle for millions of people in key ethno-economic areas

security - keeping our own business away from the prying eyes of the herd

left v right - the opposing courts of the playing field

good v evil - the elite gentry v the peasants (the herd)

health care - the right of the elite

jobs - making sure the masses do the work that serves your interests

terrorism - a convenient distraction

journalism - a fearsome enemy

democracy - right of the elite class

Wikipedia - elitist counterpoint to the above definitions

Excellent and important piece of work. It should be printed and set on every TV table for a reference sheet whenever a politician speaks.

Few people are aware of the language tricks being played on us every single day. If people retrained themselves to actually hear what's being said, we could eventually shed the wool of sheepdom.

Thanks!

They will also find a way to charge for the air we breath. And I am not joking. They will have their "actuaries" and air experts and accountants. This will be privatized. They will figure how much cubic feet of air is breathed for the average human then extend it to families of two, three or four etc. Water is essential as is air. They charge for water so they probably figure they can charge for clean air too. But they can'take shut off the air to compelling payment so they will find another enforcement method. If they can find an effective enforcement method, look for the elites to start charging for air.

Divide and conquer; they keep us apart by race, religion, sexual preference, political parties...etc. As divided we will continually be fleeced...I'd like to see just once the American people stand together and stiff the 1%. HOW...stop paying auto and home loans, stop paying taxes...and when the cops try to evict one of us, the entire block shows up armed! Best to send them a warning and stop paying auto and home loan payments for a month, say the month of July...get their attention! And to the cops & sheriffs who enforce their rules, they need to remember that they live in our neighborhoods and can be harassed by the rest of us. I'm sure they would jump ship rather quickly as did happen during the Great Depression.
