"Voodoo: If you want to understand it, believe."

- Zora Neale Hurston

Well, we knew there'd be surprises, come October. Think sweep season.

Paul Street recently published Hollow Resistance, a welcome take-down of the Obama Era. And the Hopey Dopey Change Machine (i.e., "the Appeaser" for military-corporate interests) was back today with the news that Obama's NSC had a Playbook for Early Response to High-Consequence Emerging Infectious Disease Threats and Biological Incidents for dealing with pandemics, should they occur. Leave aside for the moment if this announcement gives the lie to Trump and Repugnicans regarding having been left with information yada yada yada. As Street might rightly ask: Why didn't Obama produce the Playbook in March? Answer: Because it wasn't October.

This is what we've come to: Coke-Pepsi Politics, no matter how toxic, winning out over the Public Interest and Public Health. F*ck the Plebs until late October of presidential elections, then interfere with their thinking. Someone should check to see if Obama is secretly a Russian. (Oh, wait, Captain O started the whole Russian Hacking scheme during his lame duck months at the end of his presidency, when he presidents are traditionally tidying up their legacy, not committing the next president to foregn policy that had no say in.) The Dems-and-Dose Party knows it has a sh*t candidate running, one who Barry himself recently said would "find a way to f*ck it up," and now he's come out of "retirement" to spend his unearned cachet to interfere in the 2020 presidential election.

Remember the Turd Blossom Rule: Razzle Dazzle, They'll Never See It Coming.

Not long ago, another moral schlong, Bob Woodward, "revealed" in a new book the extent to which Trump understood the seriousness of the coming pandemic -- at least as far back as December, when reports were coming out of Wuhan from a hospital doctor there that a pandemic was on its way, an event that would have immediately alerted the CDC and WHO, and got American intelligences services into overdrive. And there were reports, in our MSM, before that of suspicious activity at a Wuhan lab.

(BTW, in the recently released Borat 2, Rudy Guiliani confirms that he and Trump believe -- he actually says it -- that China deliberately set the Corona free to create global havoc, but, currently, the MSM is obsessed with a scene with Rudy touching his family jewels in prep for sexing Borat's underage "daughter.")

But we were distracted by an impeachment fated to fail (Repugs owned the Senate) and a looming half-billion dollar Super Bowl to watch (it's really all about Budweiser and Doritos anyway). That's the way it works. Like with the 9/11 lead up, when Cofer Black had all that intel telling him what's up and he couldn't get through to You Know Who. Conspiracy? No, typical day at the office.

Woodward's another one who held back information of vital importance and interest to the Public to have juicy chum bits to toss to the Trump-hating masses and guarantee another NYT feather-bestseller in his already overstuffed mattress of a career. It's not a first for this selfish journo: He might have told us who Deep Throat was -- the codename, a joke reference to J. Edgar Hoover -- (Mark Felt, associate FBI director), for instance, and provided us not with the illusion of heroic whistleblowing, but another example of disgruntled power going all Brutus on our exceptional system of government. And its crudities: Nixon sucks for not promoting me to replace that closet homosexual head of the FBI, and now I'm going to spill some seeds, which I should be spilling anyway because it's in the public interest to know that their president is ordering B-and-E s and wiretapping, and some Daily Darkness reporters are going to help me sell it.

As with Obama, it seems fair to ask, and many have already: Why didn't you say something back in March, Bob? Answer: Because it wasn't close enough to October. One might further enquire, given the circumstances, whether there was any triangulation with Lets-Drone-Strike-American-Citizens Obama for the late newsbreak. It's another example of Obama's more effective evil, according to Black Agenda Report writer, Margaret Kimberly, one of the first to call Obama's presidency for what it was.

Okay, so we now know that our government has had in place for a while a framework for dealing with biosynthetic weaponry, out of which Obama's NSC drew its Playbook, and out which Trump drew his "conspiratorial" bio-weapon conclusion, as told to people who know Bob Woodward, the bestselling writer, looking for a sequel to his previous Trump takedown Fear. Rage sounds good. I know I'm enraged at the state of our nation.
