Rob Kall's passion of a "bottom-up" world was very much instrumental in my deciding to write on OpEd News. In his philosophy, I heard: "It begins with YOU!"
That's bottom up! It begins in you and me.
Religion and God are also not top-down. They are in you. This is why a physicist claims that the center of the universe is everywhere and its periphery nowhere. The center is where ever you are, where ever Rob Kall is and where I am writing in Maine.
Nor is true religion a belief system. It is an evolutionary process. How it is presented can spark a devolutionary state or an evolutionary one. In our current state in western civilization, it has been devolutionary.
In saying devolutionary, I do want to comment that in using the term, I am speaking to an evolution (a manifestation of a potential) that is not progressive. Having cars and jet planes does not cut it in defining our evolution. Growing wings to fly IS evolutionary in my opinion.
This angers people, both religious in the traditional sense (i.e., belonging to an institutionalized belief system) and those that call themselves atheist (i.e., a-theistic or not following a theism).
Why do my words anger them?
It is because they are both hanging onto a philosophy that is killing
us; and the planet. (Some of my past articles get into this).
