This is precisely why I write often about the virgin
birth. We have to get past ourselves.
The virgin birth is NOT what you think it is. It is not a literal birth. It is a an emptiness of mind that allows one to conceive a Christ (or other name such as Buddha). If you go into a virgin state of mind, you
will discard all I am saying because you will discard all thought. So, all I'm saying is: "try this process of
emptying". Don't believe it, become it
and see for yourself. (This is the meaning of belly dance, which signifies the removal of veils until one becomes revealed in one's nakedness).
Yet, realize that after several years of conditioning, becoming virgin is not an easy task. In the virgin state you will be mindless and beyond the conditioning of school, media and parents. In the virgin state, you won't even label yourself as virgin. If you label yourself, you are no longer virgin. It is upon the utterance of the word (in Hindu, OM, the sound of creation that emanates from the depths of silence) that division occurs. (Read Genesis 1:2 for a metaphorical understanding of our original State of Virginia!).
As I have said in past articles, Christ in mystic Christianity
is known as the evolutionary potential of human beings as well as all that live
in the natural world. Becoming empty of conditioning is to return to the Virgin State of Being!
Christ is thus beyond the institution of Christianity. Christ embraces all peoples, creatures, plants and planets worshiping their foundations in their own way throughout the world. Whether one classifies one's self as Atheist, Pagan, Jew, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu or Taoist, we are filled with Christ, the evolutionary potential within us.
This is a true bottom-up understanding of Christ. Its also a revelation of who you are beyond the conditioning you have been under since you were a baby. In your deepest psychological and spiritual nudity, you are That.
At NO time is this return to a "virgin" mindset more important than today. Yet, it is also a dangerous venture for you to take. It is dangerous for the same reason that the Jews and Romans collided in trying to kill the Christ child (this story was all over the place in those times, not just the birth of the Divine Child).
Becoming virgin is simply to become void of everything you were taught since you emerged from your mother's womb.
