The conception of your response is the process and the process is the Way. The Way is the way in which you conceive your thoughts in response to these words. If it weren't for the conception of your reaction to this article, then it wouldn't be the Way, now would it?
"And that's the way it is," said Walter Cronkite of CBS News fame upon shutting down for the night. (Cronkite was a news announcer who many youngsters may not recall. He was anchorman for the Evening News for 19 years, from 1962--81.)
"Well, no Walter, it's the way you are saying it. Yet, how your words are formed and how events happen in the world according to our beliefs (words) are the Way!"
Thus, Burke at the end of his long series says to Walter's watchers at the end of "The Day the Universe Changed":
"If the universe is what you say it is; then, by all means, say!"
The Word is made flesh in you and NOT just Walter Cronkite spouting "and that's the way it is!" 'No, Walter, the universe is not how you say it! No longer shall we "Eve's" (labor classes, the unemployed as well as women) be subservient to the "Man!" and his externalized emphasis on the universe." (Note: Psyche and Soul are not two. Psyche is a feminine name and was originally the term for Soul in the Greco-Roman world).
What we say and believe matters. Changing the world means changing your/our minds. If we "say" a word that is in contrast to what Walter taught us, then that word will become flesh.
The question remains: Can we let go (of the conditioning of CBS News and become Virgin) in order to evolve?
