Just as Donald Trump has the GOP leadership shaking in their boots, Bernie Sanders has the DNC nervous. He should go further... time for Bernie to psych them so they need to change their pants. People are sick and tired of party politics. This election season has shown that people want a candidate who shows he doesn't bow down to hack party leaders.
The DNC has seriously hurt Sanders by restricting the number of debates, and scheduling the authorized ones for low viewership time slots-- Saturday nights, and competing with multiple NFL football games. Bernie should publicly snub the DNC's edict that primary candidates who debate Republicans will not be allowed to participate in debates. This is not a legitimate rule anyway. Bernie should get into it with Trump, Cruz, Rubio, any candidate who will engage. He should notify the press and the DNC that he's going to do it, then do it. When the DNC tries to tell him to stop, he should tell them to pound sand-- that they don't have the right to keep him silent, which is what they've been doing.

Really, what are they going to say, "You've been naughty so we won't let Democratic voters see you debate the candidate we want?"

I don't think so. They might try. Bernie would basically say that he's willing to debate Hillary the small handful of times she's worked out with her DNC partners. If she doesn't debate, that says a lot about her and will hurt her, and the Sanders campaign can use it against her.
There are no second chances here. Iowa is just a few weeks away. Bernie should exercise the independence he's demonstrated all his life. Go for it Bernie break the DNC rule. Show your stuff to the people you will be running against.
