With news that BP has approval to cement the ill-fated oil well in the Gulf of Mexico, this may mark the end of the worst environmental disaster for the US. Believing that images can have more impact than words, I present the following "Tagxedo" image using a stock photograph of a nozzle with a drop of oil, prepared from an earlier OpEd about the BP oil spill and the effect of crude oil on sediment filtration in ocean beds, increasing exposure to heavy metals, such as arsenic.
