I just can't figure out how to think about current events in "Crazytown". Is anonymous a coward or a patriot. I do know one thing, he or she (I will use he) is an original Trumpian and had drunk the Kool-Aide from the beginning, unlike most in this country. So what is he? If he is a coward it is hard to believe he had the courage to send the Op-Ed to the New York Times to begin with. If he is a Patriot then how is it that he could have sat on his hands this long while Trump ran rough shod over the country. Possibly he is neither a coward nor a patriot but simply a deep throat whistle blower with some motivation we cannot yet see. All that said, it is not all that important to me what his anonymous status reveals. I am most troubled by the fact I seem more open minded than the totality of the Congressional Republicans.

Trump thinks he can order the New York Times to reveal anonymous' name and turn him over to the government. Trump seems so oblivious to the country he lives in, and the constitution that protects citizens from what Trump appears to be. This country does not charge whistleblowers of treason and sentence them to death; much to Trumps chagrin.

As much as I support the outing of Trump's instability I am very concerned about who is actually running this country. If what is said is true, and I think it is, it indicates we have a shadow government that no one actually voted for unless it is Pence. That seems to me to be highly unlikely since Pence seems to follow lock step with Trump like a little puppy. If appointed people are making policy, or hiding important issues from the President we are in worse trouble than I originally thought. I realize Trump only feels obligated to the American people to the point it benefits him, but he is the duly elected President.

Do we have a Shadow government? The problem with a shadow government is that the next step must be a puppet government. If Trump is not dangerous enough imagine a president whose opinions are simply given to him by populists who have no intention of fulfilling anything promised. Unknown people who may not be associated in any way with the inner circle of the administration pulling every string attached to the powers of the President.

Another question is who may be pulling strings of congressional Republicans? Has this whole thing been a slow burn form Reagan through Bush to Trump? What motivates the congressional Republicans? It appears to me that the selling of one's soul is an auction on the hill and a race to the bottom of human decency. Merrick Garland is the first great leap. Where was the American public's outrage of a dirty unconstitutional rules trick by Mitch McConnell of refusing even a fair hearing? The Senate Majority Leader's actions in this case was amoral. Then again Mitch McConnell is amoral. Holding thousands of documents until hours before hearings on a potential puppet Brett Kavanaugh is beyond the pale. Is this not obvious? From voter suppression, Senate rule changes, and tax laws that have no benefit to those who elect these congressional deceivers, to benefits designed only for the incredibly rich in America. It seems that in today's political environment the constitution is not worth the paper it is written on to some. It also seems the voters have an insatiable appetite for voting against their own best interest.

It may eventually become obvious that the puppet masters are hiding in plain sight, yet I believe there is a certain segment of the American public who would react with indifference because they simply do not care. Rationalizing that what is slowly becoming the laws of the land is worth the corruption behind these political outrages.

Falling back to my original point; I did not vote for those who claim to protect us by exerting their "altruistic" actions to undermine the office of President of the United States, nor did I vote for the puppet. There is no precedent, law, nor legal way to achieve this less implementing the 25th Amendment.

So to Anonymous, get off your "I am saving the United States" self-admiration. Do what you need to do, and take steps to remove this incompetent moron. If he is a danger to the American public get the hell out of the way and let his actions and those of the Republican Congressional members' show why we are the embarrassment of democracy worldwide.
