You can see something of it in her eyes:
an austerity, twists of logic, Salem
witch dunks, Roe v Wade -- which lady will rise?
If Il Papi texts her, will she hail him?
Will 'He' press her Roman obbligato
and bust our sacred secular balloons --
our young women in sudden oh-oh ritardo
with no choice but to sing the Church's tunes?
We just don't know: She's not the type that talks,
suddenly, and her memories are shot,
and when asked to opine she coyly balks,
