D: That's right, yes. So in this study, we wanted to simplify and
look just at the Republicans versus the Democrats.
R: This was in Southern
California, so you had a lot more Democrats than Republican, I guess.
D: Yes. (laughs)
R: But I'm just wondering, the
percentages are that there are more Independents than there are Democrats or
Republicans -- what about their brains?
Did you look at comparing the non-registered people at all, or is that
another study?
D: Yeah, that's another study
that we've done, and we're looking at that now.
That research is in progress.
It's to compare the people who are registered as Republicans-Democrats
with the people who are not registered with one of the two main parties, and to
see what we can observe in those patterns.
We're still developing that research at this point.
R: No finding s yet, or
predictions?
D: Nothing that we've completely
nailed down, so we're going to keep looking at the data that we've collected,
so we can get that completely sorted out.
R: OK. It seems like you've got extremes on one side
or the other; or maybe not, I don't know.
I'm a former Democrat. I kind of
left the fold, because they started looking more and more the same.
