The Republican Party strategy to make the November elections a series of local contests focused on the economy and tax cuts is a disaster waiting to happen. The alternative, a strategy that puts the GOP on a path to victory in November, lies in giving specific voter groups a choice between the agenda of Donald Trump and that of Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer -- an agenda that includes:

Overturning the 2016 election by impeaching President Trump, Destroying national sovereignty by opening the border with Mexico to any illegal alien with children, Blocking construction of President Trump's border wall, Abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Busting the federal budget with socialist schemes like "Medicare for All," and Obstructing confirmation of Trump nominees to the Supreme Court.

In other words, my organization, the FedUp Political Action Committee, aims to do what no other conservative group is attempting: nationalize the November elections by using targeted marketing to specific interest groups to brand Democrats as far-Left, violent, dangerous socialists.

In fact, I just this morning posted the two latest "Victory in 2018" messages. I hope you will find time to read them today. They lay out a strategy for targeting specific voter groups with issues that match their interests. Showing those voters how far to the Left Democrats have gone will motivate them to turn out and vote in November.

FedUp PAC made this strategy work in 2016 when we targeted Catholic voters in key battleground states with messages that branded Hillary Clinton as a radical anti-Catholic extremist. Post-election exit polling showed President Trump won the Catholic vote by a margin of 52 to 45 percent over Mrs. Clinton. That result was a big turnaround from 2012 when President Obama won a majority of the Catholic vote.

The results for President Trump among Catholic voters in 2016 was no accident. It's an outcome with roots going back to the 1960s and 70s, when I pioneered political direct marketing. In more than 50 years, my companies have sent out over four BILLION postal letters and billions of e-mail letters.

What makes direct marketing the single-most effective form of advertising for political campaigns is its ability to reach only the intended audience. No one else working in politics today has the experience and the know-how to apply marketing to political campaigns like I can.

Branding Democrats by way of targeted marketing as dangerous, far-Left violence-prone extremists is what makes FedUp PAC unique among all of the groups on the conservative side trying to influence the 2018 midterm elections. Instead, FedUp PAC is working to motivate Catholics, Evangelicals, independents, blacks and Hispanics via e-mail and social media with specific messages casting Democrat candidates in 2018 as unhinged extremist radicals so determined to bring down President Trump they are willing to destroy our country in the process.

Sincerely, Richard A. Viguerie Chairman, FedUp Political Action Committee

P.S. Conservatives have a choice: Follow the Republican strategy many of them are on now that guarantees defeat on November 6 or shift to a strategy that motivates conservative Trump voters and independents by exposing them to the hate-Trump, hate-America left-wing extremism of Democrats up and down the November ballot.
