It's all good for the capitalists! AIPAC! Trump's taking it all back!
It no longer matters that the constituents of certain politicians aren't served. Its regime change in America! In regime change mode, neither the political opposition nor its constituents are valued as human beings.
Bowman's plan to encourage congress to cease and desist when it comes to receiving endorsements from AIPAC and other lobbyist organizations is a start. But only a start.
In the US, we need real progressive-minded politicians if we want to see politicians who are free rather than bought and silenced. Progressives must become truly progressive rather than fall into old patterns of establishment politics. Progressive must become truly progressive rather than careerists, compromising with tyrants and authoritarian regimes.
I'm all in for regime change, at home! In the US! It's needed for humanity's survival. For the Earth's survival. But I'm not for a regime change that further sustains capitalism. Democracy can't breathe while capitalism is allowed to turn our Earth into an inhabitable home.
