As much as I love Sophia, the Wisdom of God, I am not out to say you need to follow Her, send me money to support my preaching, or any other thing of the sort. (Yes, if you're interested, I hope you read my book, Sophia's Web, the new edition will be out soon).
In fact, my Sophia says, "question the status quo." She is not out to say, "follow me or Burl or anyone else." Indeed, not following Her is a sign She is at work in you.
Sophia has no ego that needs to be stroked. I do love a stroke from time-to-time because I am a human being and do not experience infinity as my essence (for the most part, I have tapped into that experience, which also speaks to what I write).
I am here on this planet to be challenged and to challenge you. I am not out to indoctrinate. Nor is Sophia. "Follow me" is not Her command. You're not following Her is the commandment. In not following the status quo, you become Her sweetheart.
Why? It is simply because Her purpose is your evolution and, even deeper, about Her manifesting in an infinite variety of ways.
Who wants to look at the same movie over and over?
You get tired of it after awhile.
With my Sophia, I am not out to glorify Her ego, nor mine. As one Gnostic Christian put it, "how can a god be jealous? What kind of God is that?" in reference to the Old Testament line that speaks to God as being a jealous one. That Gnostic asks a legitimate question in my eyes.
