So, let us let go to our coffins made of Atheists, Theists, Catholics, Protestants, Jews, or Pagans.
For me, this brings up why the Bible speaks about graven images. Identifying with an image can be meditative. Yet, you ultimately have to go beyond the image.
Thus, Meister Eckhart says that we need to let go of 'god' for the sake of God.
If you meditate on your eye, you will discover that the eye cannot see itself. For an eye to see itself, it needs an-other. Thus, it needs to become a Mother. This is why you are. You are God expressing God in such a way that God sees Her/His Self.
To this, do not puff your chest out in arrogance and pride. Indeed, experiencing this unlimited essence in your being is humbling.
