Mercury conjoins Pluto in Capricorn:
Mercury will join Pluto hours after this new Moon, taking our thinking to a new level. Old negative thinking can now give way to more practical ways of dealing with work and society. Happening so close to the new Moon, these two energies can help us find practical ways to bring our new insights and hope into the cultural arena.
Most of the holiday season will be under the shadow of Mercury retrograde. The important thing to remember is: have patience and enjoy the view while you're waiting. This is a good time to bring out the child within and instead of feeling frustrated that the traffic is crazy, the stores are out of the present you were waiting to buy and everyone's late for Christmas dinner, sit back and talk with the people you find yourself with. And take a deep breath and smile!
The Sabian symbol for 5* Capricorn is: Indians on the Warpath. While some men row a well-filled canoe, others in it perform a war dance. We've seen this image before, back at Summer Solstice and the Capricorn Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on June 26, 2010 . This was the degree of the Moon/Pluto conjunction, when 7 out of 10 planets formed the cardinal cross that began this intense summer of change. So, do you know what you learned? Have you figured out how to release the anger and fear and get on with the dance?
On December 12th, Mercury, Mars and Pluto conjoin at this degree. It will be interesting to see what each of us does with this energy. Watch the world news as well.
I invite you to take a look at my friend Rick DiClemente's wonderful newsletter StarSelf , where he writes about both the Neptune/Chiron conjunction and Uranus turning direct.
The full Moon later this month on Winter Solstice, December 21st, is a lunar eclipse, the first of three eclipses in the next month. As you can imagine, these eclipses signify even more changes and transformation. Watch what you said and do now. Who you really are, and what you really care about will be evident to everyone. Step up and show the world who you really are!
Bright Blessings in this joyful and magical season.
