As it stands now, because of this disastrous primary, all Americans can have no faith in our election processes. I tell you this directly as an 89 year old whose first Presidential ballot I cast for Harry Truman. If Harry Truman were alive, he would in no uncertain terms tell you not to allow the credibility of the presidency to be forever impugned by your last New York primary.
4749. Barbara Arntzen from Santa Fe, NM
Everyone has the constitutional right to vote, and when this is denied for economic, or procedural reasons, or just plain larcenous plotting like we saw in the NY Primary, this cannot be permitted. You as Attorney General of New York have the privilege and the obligation to correct this by obtaining a Federal Court order under federal election laws. If you do not, we can only go higher, to President Obama.
4674. March Twisdale from Vashon, WA I want every American to have a voice in the selection of our Commander and Chief. As Arizona and New York (and other states) have illustrated...the Democratic Party has struggled to successfully enfranchise our citizenry. YOU can correct their error -- please do. Every New Yorker who wishes to participate should be given two weeks to fix their registration and then you can run a primary that you can be proud of.
4641. Lorilee House from Adelanto, CA Government corruption [particularly in New York] goes unnoticed during most elections, but this election year is going to be different. U.S. voters will not sit quietly while they are disenfranchised in voter purges, misinformation and electronic vote flips. Play by the rules or get out.
631. Jonathan Flynn from Highland, NY Mr Schneiderman, do this, please! We need to get the money out of politics and these two parties have been wreaking havoc on the process.
4601. Tony Schuster from Plainwell, MI There is no excuse for the election fraud going on in this primary. Not only NY and the ridiculous voter purge, AZ. was also a joke. Then Chicago, where an audit was done votes changed to match machines outcomes and witnessed by observers. Ignored by officials. Our democracy is a shambles. This illegal action must be challenged.
4533. Kier Kirby from Brooklyn, NY Without fair elections and ALL votes counted, we do not have democracy.
4493. Aaron Tabackman from Astoria, NY
There were too many irregularities on April 19th, 2016 or Primary Day in New York State. Too much disorganization and disenfranchisement of party voters! Due to apparent glitches in software 125,000 voters disappeared from the roles and were forced to file affidavits (if that was even a possibility by the time it came to vote. Some polling stations ran out.). There were many polling locations closed in New York City. Due to this and more and because of the significance of this election, New York State citizens should have another election to be conducted as soon as possible.
4478. Kris Ambrosich from Pagosa Springs, CO Attorney General: this is your one chance to get this right, once and for all, thus restoring faith in our system of government.
4444. Patricia Gracian from San Diego, CA Our disgraceful fraudulent elections- led by the NY one- cannot seriously be confirmed in its present state. The world is watching. And frankly it is embarrassing! But worst of all is that confirming fraudulent elections cements un-elected officials into office. THAT is a criminal assault upon the citizens of the nation.
4433. Jill Schwarz from Santa Fe, NM Just remember what they did in Florida with those hanging chads and the intentional purging of voters gave us 8 years of Cheney-Bush!
4423. Lucinda Cuthbertson from Brattleboro, VT Please act for the law, the law to allow everyone to vote for their Candidate. The vote swapping and disappearances should particularly make you an Officer of the Law want to investigate and to provide justice to your fellow New Yorkers.
4403. Matthew Anderson from New York, NY What's the deal with a Clinton super delegate the Comptroller handling the investigation into an election she "won"?
4390. Mary Ahern from East Northport, NY #FixAlbany This is just another example of the corruption that pervades every aspect of life in New York. It needs to stop.
