c) No decrease in gangs and gang violence.
d) Gang members and their relatives are on the city payroll while supposedly working to stem gang violence through wasteful gang abatement programs that don’t work no matter who’s working on them.
e) Conned the public to vote for a $36 a year parcel tax for more ineffective, money-wasting anti-gang programs.
f) Traffic is still at a standstill.
g) Did not clean up pay-to-play corruption, which former Mayor Jim Hahn was accused of and is more rampant than ever.
h)The schools are still failing miserably and not succeeding as promised.
i) The dropout rate is higher than ever, and 65 percent of the population is still functionally illiterate in English and Spanish.
j) The promised number of potholes were never filled, and the ones that did get filled are eroding as we drive.
* He’s a philander who got caught unzipped, dallying with a Spanish language station reporter, who makes a practice of making it with politicos. His second wife divorced him immediately. No standing by her ex-man for that wise little lady.
There’s more. There’s a lot more to be looked at under the vet’s microscope, but that’s more than enough for starters.
So, Barack. Be wise in whom you choose to advise you, and those whom you choose to be surround by in your fledgling administration.
You don’t need any scandals, or the likes of the Antionio Villaraigosas of the country anywhere near you for their taint to rub off and to forever tarnish the magnificent achievements we know you can make for our country and restoring our reputation throughout the world.
