* His constituencies consist of illegal aliens, lobbyists and big time real estate developers, with whom he has secret deals and no-bid contracts.
Sound familiar? If any of them greet you, don’t mistakenly think they’re happy to see you, they’re not. The bulge in their pockets is Villaraigosa.
* Having his photo taken on a daily basis, where he can dress up in various costumes, such as a firefighter’s turnout coat, and be seen in the media is his greatest accomplishment. He’s a master of meaningless acts of self-promotion, while doing nothing for the citizens of L.A.
* He won election on a lie and has been lying ever since. He promised to take over the schools and improve them by making astonishing, miraculous changes.
One he can’t. By law, the mayor has no control, nor can have any control over LAUSD, but he did manage -- through legal maneuvering -- to get his grubby mitts on the charter schools, which have only had more of the same problems since he took over and managed to get his pet monkeys elected to the school board.
* You’d think he’d know that taking over the school was forbidden by law; he’s taken enough law classes, but failed in four fatal attempts to pass the California Bar Exam.
* He lies and uses Republican scare tactics to get voters to pass fees (taxes) onto themselves that if they were paying attention, they would never do. And he gets our lying, political animal, only self-interested, non-crime fighting, non-gang fighting police chief, Bill Bratton, of New York City fame to do his every lying bidding.
One example: For 10 years we paid an illegal nine percent phone tax. Before it came to an end Villaraigosa said we needed the money for more cops, even though we’d already taxed ourselves for 1,000 new cops when he first came into office.
We still don’t have half that number of new cops on our streets that run red with blood of innocent victims on a nearly daily basis, because they’ve been gunned down by gang members -- both the home grown and illegal alien varities.
Villaraigosa and Bratton lied and said we’d all die from rampant crime -- like we don’t have that already -- if we didn’t vote ourselves another, cheaper phone tax, but a communications tax.
Lie! Lie! Lie!
It was only cheaper in that they lowered the percentage by a hair, but far more expensive, because now the tax applies not to just telephone service, but to all forms of communications including the internet.
* Villaraigosa has broken every campaign promise -- except for the partial take over of the schools -- and hasn’t completed one project he started. He doesn’t hang around town long enough to accomplish anything except get his photo taken.
a) The 10,000 trees he promised to plant disappeared, never to be found.
b) No reduction in crime and no 1,000 new cops on the streets.
