-Who will appoint heads of agencies who you will trust, admire, respect and expect to do what is best for the people of the US... vs appointing people who will also look out for corporate interests?

-Who is the mainstream media supporting most (with coverage, positive remarks, defense of attacks, backup by pundits?)

-Who is the mainstream media attacking or portraying negatively? Who do they show as angry or emotionally unstable?

-Who will leave the country better off, after four years than he or she found it when becoming president?

-Who will protect and defend democracy, human rights and freedoms, the constitution, privacy and the USA's reputation as a nation that respects rules of law, including banning torture?

-Who will prosecute criminal actions by the current administration?

-Who will put defense and protection of the constitution on the table?

-Who will, as the leader of his or her party, encourage investigations of illegal actions by Bush, Cheney and their appointees?

-Who is most likely to pardon Bush and Cheney or their appointees?

and some questions for the candidates: The first ones are ones every candidate in any race should be ready to answer. Any candidate who has not worked through these answers is not ready to lead or represent constituents.

Who are your living heroes, besides your relatives?

Who, among recent American leaders and political appointees, do you respect and why?

Tell a story about your life that portrays something essential about who you are, what you stand for or how you deal with challenges?

What would you like to accomplish, as president, that would define your legacy?
