-corporations are continuing to parasitize the racist, fundamentalist foolishness of stupid white southern Christian men and orthodox Jewish men mostly in metro areas (and Christian zionists) who misguidedly think they are saving "the family" the white culture, or Israel. Oh. Never mind. That's not one to be thankful for. We should be thankful that the corporations haven't bought enough sell-out politicians yet, like Joe Lieberman and Mitch McConnell, to encourage Cheney to push the buttons so Bush starts an insane, incredibly destructive, nobody wins war with Iran, so our gasoline prices jump past $5 a gallon, (which they will probably do anyway, soon after the 2008 elections.
-And finally, it's amazing what OpEdNews has done in the past few years, reaching close to half a million people a month, publishing close to 50,000 articles and quicklinks in the past 2.5 years. We have 25 volunteer editors, over 60 volunteer assignment reporters, we've had over 650 supporters make contributions and every sign suggests we'll continue to grow, reaching more people, making a bigger difference.
And now, I go to cook the onions, garlic and mushrooms I've already chopped, while I crumble the bread I've dried out for making stuffing. And I'm thankful we get to enjoy a meal with family and friends today.
