Much more on the ISI and Unocal can be found. But it’s unnecessary for me to continue as I believe you get the point. Simply put, the Bush administration, specifically the CIA and members of the State Department that have been around since the days of Nixon, support international terrorism to achieve “objectives” that they seek to accomplish. The mission is not a “war on terror” but rather “a war of terror.”
As Michel Chossodovsky says here:
To shunt the Bush Administration's war plans and disable its propaganda machine, we must, in the months ahead reach out to our fellow citizens across the land, in the US, Canada and around the world, to the millions of ordinary people who have been misled on the causes and consequences of this war, not to mention the implications of the Bush Administration's Homeland Security legislation, which essentially sets in place the building blocks of a police state.
This initiative requires the spreading of information in an extensive grassroots network, with a view to weakening and ultimately disabling the Bush Administration’s propaganda machine.
He made this call a little less than two months before America made the decision to go into Iraq and terrorize Iraqis, destabilize the government, wreak havoc on the nation’s infrastructure, push through laws to take corporate control of the economy, and plunge Iraq into civil war. That does not mean you cannot and should not heed it now.
As I usually like to demand something of my reader when I finish a piece, please lead the grassroots effort to educate Americans on Bush’s and most importantly (because he’s been around longer), Cheney’s support for international terrorism. And then tell them to phone their leaders (representatives, senators, state representatives, governor, etc.) and demand they support impeachment of Cheney and then Bush for high treason now.
