Nobody is forcing you to live free. There are plenty of other places to live. But understand, we Americans value our freedoms and will not allow others to abridge them.
******************TO ALL MUSIC FANS OUT THERE***************
Here are some fine hip-hop artists to listen to if you value freedom of speech and do not mind lyrics that may be deemed offensive, misogynistic, or violent. Primarily, I am promoting these artists because their music is political. They are: Public Enemy, N.W.A., Sage Francis, Saul Williams, Immortal Technique, Mos Def, The Roots, Talib Kweli, Wu-Tang Clan, Dead Prez, Paris, Nas, The Coup, Eminem, and Jurassic 5. All those artists have socially, politically, and culturally stimulating songs.
Of course, I am going to a Power to the Peaceful event this weekend and seeing Michael Franti & Spearhead in concert. I believe hip-hop music lyrics should emulate the lyrics of Franti & Spearhead’s music.
