There's something to be said for forging ahead. There's more to be said for stopping a moment to track how things are going. What's up with you, with your business, and with your relationships. The way your calendar is set up, you have four equally spaced opportunities to take some time to look around a little bit, and see how you are really doing.

#4 -- Take an unscheduled vacation

Most young professionals, and entrepreneurs classify as workaholics. And why not, most of us consider that a compliment. We love to be respected for the time we put in, and we love to accomplish stuff when other people are just getting started. But every once in a while, you need to get away. To clear your mind, and reset your creativity. If you start now, you can plan that time in your schedule. Time for a family vacation, if you have one. Romantic getaway, if you want one " or, best of all, just a solo trip to decompress, and be alone with what's out there.

Whatever you do with your year this year, don't just let those extra weeks come, and go like they're the same as everything else. Time should be invested. Set it up so you get the most return.
