That night, Nader/Gonzalez will hold their Super Rally in Denver.
The event at the University of Denver’s Magness Arena will include Cindy Sheehan, Val Kilmer, Sean Penn, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, Jello Biafra, Nellie McKay, and Ike Reilly.
The Super Rally’s focus will be on opening the debates up to third party and Independent presidential candidates.
A concert for an Etown radio show taping involving David Crosby and Graham Nash will happen on Tuesday, August 26th. The concert, to take place at 9 pm at the Temple Buell Theater in Denver’s Performing Arts Complex will also include Ani DiFranco and James Taylor as well as others who have not yet been announced.
Crosby, Stills, and Nash adapted their classic “Chicago” earlier this year renaming it “Denver” to promote the need for activists to “come up to Denver” and be a part of the convention.
Other events are to happen. An article posted highlights the many forums that will be held by progressive leaders during the week of the convention.
ComeUptoDenver.org has a list too of events happening.
It's not too late to come up to Denver. Everyone who can should come up and join voices from across America.
I will check in periodically throughout the convention and keep you informed of what is happening so you don’t have to rely on the corporate news media, which will most certainly filter out any truths they don’t want you to know.
